“The Einstein”, “The Kennedy”, “The Kahlo” and “The Kubrick”: the four new models  represent a collection "brimming over with personality" according to the brand, crafted in natural 7 mm thick 3D Mazzucchelli acetate, with grooved steps that create a statement shape for the wearer. - as well as a comfortable fit. The 20th anniversary collection celebrates the values of the Barcelona brand as a tribute to its history, expressed as a collection created in the chess acetate Etnia Barcelona first designed in 2006.
Blending the chess design with yellows, blues, baby pinks or moss greens, the layered acetates have bold temple tips, branded with a symbol created exclusively for each model.  An eye with rays of light, an eye with lashes, an eye and a pyramid, or an eye with false lashes, referencing the Anthony Burgess book on which the Stanley Kubrick film, “A Clockwork Orange”, was based.

The four models in the anniversary collection all carry HD colour mineral lenses which offer the wearer a unique visual experience in terms of colour and overall experience, just as one has come to expect from all the brand’s sunglass collections says the company. For the campaign, Etnia Barcelona celebrates turning twenty by featuring popular icons of history and humanity, figures that have inspired the label through its first years in the business.
