Exciting variety, innovative surfaces, and bountiful colour choices…the details are a talking point…

Collab with National Geographic

Part of a new capsule collection created with National Geographic, Lacoste’s L939SENG is produced in collorations which are inspired by animal patterns and their natural colours. The unisex sunglass style has a round eye shape. The crocodile logo appears on the temple with other small and precise distinguishing details such as the yellow-toned temple tips. The frame is made from bio-acetate and it is accompanied by an organic cotton bag promoting the importance of protecting the environment. Lacoste Eyewear is produced by Marchon. The Lacoste x National Geographic collaboration is led by award-winning photographer and National Geographic fellow Joel Sartore.

Embossed effects

Model Nobile by IMAGO combines the trendy hexagonal shape with an understated yet oversized look. With its sister frame Alata, these styles feature matt/shiny contrasts and a delicately embossed upper rim, designed to “skilfully draw attention to the feminine wearer. Produced in premium titanium, the styles are offered in six harmonious and contemporary tones including a soft gold, rose gold and flattering silver hues. Founded in 1990, IMAGO Eyewear is a German company with a broad range of product lines including, Imago, i-spax, Colorline and PIX.

Fine finishing

Style SF243SR by Salvatore Ferragamo, produced by Marchon, has an oversized rectangular eye shape and distinctive Gancini symbol decorating the temples. The Gancini is studded with tiny Swarovski crystals which produce an exciting glittering effect – the tiny stones are applied by hand, testimony to the absolute care and attention of the label for each aspect of the creative process. The frame is available in luxurious colorations such as light gold/grey gradient and light gold with brown gradient lens. It’s a design that combines glamour and sophistication as well as high quality UV protection.

A stylish statement

Bocca Pixel 3 by FACE À FACE is a little piece of art, combining a statement graduated coloration which combines red and blue on the front (frozen Bordeaux), with a multi-colored temple and Escher inspired shape!  The frame comes from the new Bocca concept derived from a set of extruded cubes, and entirely pixelated. The mythical shoe of previous collections becomes abstract, recognisable only by insiders and those in the know! On the hinge, the light penetrates into the material and reveals depth and facets. The frame shape is machined with absolute precision to create the complex three-dimensional space.

Shimmering chic

Seraphin Eyewear’s Shimmer 4 is part of a capsule collection embellished with dazzling Swarovski crystals and designed by David Duralde. The line embodies the spirit of premium American fashion, a desire to personalise to turn heads and to inspire confidence. As with all OGI collections, each frame is carefully designed for durability and comfort as well as glamour: the glittering stones and super glam shapes give the collection a special and luxurious feel inspired by the 1920s and the iconic style of F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Hand-finished surfaces

Model Greta by Lara D’ is a modified butterfly shape with an angled brow line. The frame comes in black/crystal glitter brown, crystal tan/purple, black/white tortoise and tortoise/coral. In a statement about the collection the designer explains the finishing technique: “This collection further explores the detailed work we can do on the surface of an acetate frame style – to give it a different style and memorable quality. I collaborate with some of the most talented craftsmen of Vicenza, an Italian city famed for its jewellers and artisans with specialist skills...”

‘Terrazzo’ inspired

Baroque-inspired Halley by Lafont Paris is characterised by unique colours of panther, tortoiseshell, golden and pink. The pink variation pictured features a new “terrazzo” inspired finish for the prominent brow bar – a gorgeous patterned acetate with flecks of black and yellow gold. The temples and lower rim are light pink with a crystal transparency. All Lafont Paris frames are produced exclusively in the Jura in France and feature the OFG (Guaranteed French Origin) label. This Certification applies to the entire acetate collection.

Colours of nature

Trendy and sweet in its shape, model Liesl combines sheets of thin nylon with stainless steel, creating a double rim effect that highlights the eyes. Available in blush and sage, this frame comes from a line inspired by nature – and “saturated gardens with moody undertones of transitional times of day such as dusk and dawn. Much like Posen’s tailoring, the collection is designed to highlight a woman’s best features and frame her face in styles that will last for years to come. Zac Posen Eyewear is created by Kenmark Eyewear.
