The Vision Council and RX, co-organizers of Vision Expo, have confirmed that more than 275 exhibiting companies have committed to Vision Expo West 2021, taking place on 22nd–25th September in Las Vegas, Nevada. Vision Expo West 2021 will take place at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Vegas. The Show’s educational program, together with OptiCon® @Vision Expo, will open Wednesday, 22nd September and exhibits will open Thursday, 23rd September. Registration is now open, and the show organisers have confirmed the Schedule of Programming and Special Events planned over the event. “The Vision Expo team is delighted to welcome more than 275 exhibiting companies to Las Vegas this September,” said Fran Pennella, Vice President, Vision Expo at RX, co-owner of Vision Expo. "Following a successful Vision Expo East, we are looking forward to bringing the vision community together again and offering a vibrant atmosphere to conduct business, network and learn.” Vision Expo’s Show Floor neighbourhoods include: The Focus, representing the foundation of eyecare and bringing together lens and coating technology, lens processing techniques, disease management solutions, contact lens innovations and eyecare practice optimization; The Park, highlighting industry icons, ubiquitous brands and prestigious collections; and The Union, an energetic showcase featuring the newest in independent design and pop-culture inspired collaborations. Exhibiting companies in The Focus include Allergan, Novartis and Zeiss. Meanwhile, Safilo and Marcolin are committed to The Park and Etnia Barcelona, Lafont, and Shwood Eyewear will be featured in The Union.
The Suites will also return to Las Vegas, offering attendees access to the most established luxury fashion houses and the latest exclusive upmarket boutiques in an intimate and unparalleled buying experience across the Venetian and Palazzo Hotels. Attendees are invited to experience an eclectic group of distinctive brands ranging from elegant fashion to exclusive, emerging boutique collections. Exhibiting companies include Thélios and Krewe. “We are committed to hosting a safe and successful event in Las Vegas this September,” said Mitch Barkley, Vice President of Trade Shows and Events at The Vision Council, co-owner of Vision Expo. “We are carefully monitoring the evolving health and safety protocols in Nevada and are updating our VisionSAFE protocols to adhere to the most up-to-date recommendations and guidelines. We will be updating our VisionSAFE protocols on the Vision Expo website and regularly communicating any changes to our exhibitors and attendees. Following a seamless Vision Expo East, we are confident we can bring the vision care community together again, safely.
