Major brands and manufacturers both from Japan and abroad exhibited such as SUNREEVE, YABUSHITA, UCHIDAYA, TOPCON, CARL ZEISS, TOKAI OPTICAL, and NIDEK. Firms from Fukui, the largest eyewear production region of Japan, were also participating to showcase their made-in-Japan frames such as: EYETEC, SANKO KOGAKU, TANIGUCHI OPTICAL, HUG OZAWA, HAMAMOTO TECHNICAL, and BOSTON CLUB. They have a physical booth at IOFT venue, and an interpreter attends their booth with a computer which is connected to an online video call system. Around 20 companies took this plan and were able to benefit from direct business meetings with buyers. Organisers have confirmed that the next IOFT event will take place on 18th to 20th October 2022.
