Launched in 2008 by two sales reps as a small table show in a nice boutique hotel in Zürich, today Hall of Frames has developed into Switzerland’s key eyewear event, with 40 independent brands taking part and visitors attending from across the country.
Taking place in the Sihlcity in an old paper production complex (on 7-8th October), the fair is celebrating its 10th edition this year. A dinner has been organised at the “Rüsterei” below the exhibition centre on Sunday evening – 7th October 2018.
“It is nice to see that over the years more and more Swiss designers have joined our show. Some of them are newcomers, like Baselli, Fassungswerk, Specs Lab and Nirvan Javan; others are well established… Götti Switzerland, Didier Voirol, Einstoffen and Von Arkel. We are proud that they show their collections at the Hall of Frames together with many other well-known designer brands.” (Nathanaël Wenger).
In 2012 the fair organisers launched their first exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany – Die Brillenmesse. The 6th edition will take place on 13th and 14th October 2018 in a central location called Garage 229, an art deco venue that offers a unique and relaxed setting.
